电站安装4台3万千瓦灯泡贯流式水轮发电机组，总装机容量12万千瓦，年均发电量5.06亿千瓦时。
该项目由中国国电集团公司、西藏天峰能源开发有限公司、国电四川电力股份有限公司分别按51%、30%和19%的比例共同出资组建的国电西藏尼洋河流域水电开发有限公司负责建设和管理。该项目安排中央预算内投资定额补助12.13亿元,占总投资的45%。（吴坤峰）
